Mackenzie

This is where the main highway goes through the sorta middle of the South Island. It’s called “The Mackenzie” and it was generally barren and grew lupins and hardy sheep.  Now it is watered and grows almost anything but mostly cows.
Either way there was a certain beauty to this place that still remains where the irrigators have so far feared to water and The Boss took this image to try to explain that.
Tiny.
