In search of beauty

After a morning of doing not much except calling the hospital to be told I could not speak with J. until further notice, I dragged myself to the car and drove around in search of beauty.

Well, I have to say it's not difficult to find when the weather's as fine as it was on Saturday. Cold, but with blue-blue skies and puffy white clouds, and trees - this one known to you already - as, perhaps, I like them best visually speaking, showing their limbs unadorned, their core if you will. I stopped twice along the way to take pictures.
