the stick tree and the star

My Christmas muscles are in a state of paralysis.  
A week to go and all I have acquired is;
one pair of Christmas spectacles that featured in three Blips yesterday
presents for two hounds
two Christmas hats - not for the hounds
one main gift for my house boy
a handful of inconsequential bits and bobs of stocking fillers

and a partridge in a pear tree ;-o

The good news is that I have a cupboard full of alcohol and I have managed to write six Christmas cards today.

Quietly panicking now.   Time to open that cupboard....
