Bryn’s big 5 0

When asked by Zion how old he was Bryn replied “big 5 0” - Zion just looked at me slightly confused!

I think he had a wonderful day! He was sung to by a packed out church (probably 500+) because in our church you only get sung to if your age ends with a 0 and it falls in a Sunday - he’s been looking forward to this all year! Then a meal at the King’s Arms with family, followed by a lovely little gathering of his friends organised by Leyna (well done!). Oh a load of presents, food, drink, and some football watching in the gaps - for him a pretty perfect day I imagine (apart from his niece constantly making him pose for photos!! Ha!).

In other news Zion took part in his first church performance this morning as the primary school aged kids took the service and did their christmas performance - he sang - with a finger in his mouth mostly - looking very nervous - but we were pleased he even went up on stage and actually sang anything! We weren’t sure he would! (Allegra attempted to get on stage too... and was promptly taken out to crèche by me... next year she can shine!)
