Some folk will say that you can't possibly use brown bread... but you can.

Edit: Merz, aka Mary, has mentioned that this looks a bit like brains. I've never seen cooked brains but maybe it's because I'd just added the bread and it wasn't yet 'mushed down' - a technical term!
