Braan Falls

Perth was clear of the ice from recent days (at last), and we chose a walk through Inver Wood, up to the Pinecone and then down to the Hermitage.

However, above Dunkeld the tracks were still covered in ice. We couldn't have managed without our Yaktraxs. I found it slightly alarming to walk down the middle of a steep ice-covered forest road, knowing that it would be suicidal without grips.

At the Hermitage, usually popular, there was no one., The rocks in the Braan were covered in ice, and it looked quite spectacular. See the extra for a closer view.
