Whoopers, Kingfisher, Frosty Walk and Lunch!

A lovely day that started by being able to donate the Education Christmas tree to someone in Need. Followed by a walk with the gorgeous Wildlife Warden who leaves on Friday. He took me all round the kingfisher haunts and we saw none! Just as we arrived back where we hand started from, he spotted one, just where we had seen it last week. It is quite a distance away, so my photos were not great, but at least it can be identified, and yes that is a huge silver fish that he was having difficulty in swallowing! Some of the swans are hungry due to the frozen water, so WArden was going to put in an extra feed today, the swan in my collage was actively talking to him.

On to lunch at the Oak on The Green with a very old friend (we’ve known each other over 30 years) and a long overdue catch up.

Home in daylight and managed to catch the car wash before it got dark.
