I saw three ships come sailing by

A mild day .... guess any hopes I had of sledging during the holidays will now be added to the back burner somewhere.

Managed to do some general tidying up, hoovering anddusting ..... jobs I love!!

Over the years I have kept a number of special Christmas cards .... sometimes because I really liked the picture and sometimes they held special memories like this one of the three ships.

I received this one from a former colleague who sadly died earlier this year. We taught the same stage in school and were in adjoining classrooms. We shared many a laugh over the antics and classic bloomers made by our charges. J was quite a bit older but that just added to our special friendship.
