Feathers

I went to the Linda Vista Gardens today to blip, tried some atmospheric and arty shots, snapped a few bees, and was climbed up without a by-your-leave by the (new?) Gardens cat. It's an elderly scabby black one I've not seen before, and seems to be the opposite of shy and retiring, preferring to head-bang the camera instead of posing. The one I most often meet there has one eye and torn ears, and is a real bruiser, but affectionate too.

But after all that, the pampas grass proved the most striking shot. I know it's its job in parks is to be impressive, but it does it with such panache!
