Birds & Sky

A busy day spent making shopping lists of all the food needed for the Christmas holiday, and then going to the store to gather it all!  We actually only did half of the shopping this afternoon ... the rest we'll pick up on Saturday. 

We will have a house full on Christmas Eve, Christmas day, and the morning of Boxing Day, then a week's respite before the same scenario plays out on New Year's Eve, so lots of menu planning and scheduling has been done.

In consequence, not much time for thinking about photography today, so here's a pretty late afternoon sky, festively sprinkled with birds on the wing.  Minutes after I took this shot, it was dark!
