Old Favourite

It may have been horrible weather but I battled through to the Kurhaus for my annual Blip of The Tree That Isn't A Tree.  Regular visitors will know that it is actually made of thousands of poinsettias and is at least 8 metres tall.

The new feature is that they have uplit it this year.  I think it looks as splendid as ever.

On my back into town (in the dark and rain) I could hear lots of the rose ringed parakeets but couldn't see them and then I saw hundreds of little gray blobs in three trees.  I would love to have got a Blip of 300 parakeets, but not possible in the dark with my camera*.

The rest of the day was frustrating.  Well, no surprise there.  I kept trying
to get files uploaded to the IBM Helpdesk and they kept saying they couldn't open them.

After 6 hours of trying to be helpful, I had had enough.  I sent the plain text files to IBM Germany with a note that said "I'm sick of trying to get your stupid system to work.  Here are the 2 text files, here is the case number - you can fight with your own system, I'm not willing to play any more.  Yours sincerely, A REALLY unhappy Customer."

We'll see if that does the trick.

*Maybe it is and I'm just stupid.
