The Shard Does Christmas

A London day for me (Chris), the last one before Christmas. I left the office this evening, the top section of The Shard was very brightly lit. A quick google revealed that this section was due to show some animated lighting each hour. Well it was only just passed 5pm so I figured I'd missed it but I took a looping walk to St Pauls and back, by which time it was nearly 6. Just before I got to London Bridge the lighting did indeed become a little more interesting with various purple coloured animated sequences.

It was a bit misty which actually enhanced the lighting effect I thought. For someone that sees the building most days, it certainly looked a bit different.
