Advent Calendar - Day 18. Frost Queen

On the shortest day of the year, a Frost Queen would be elected. The Frost Queen was chosen by having her name drawn. But the Frost Queen was always the most beautiful woman in the town. Some thought that the selection was fixed but the reality was that whoever became the Queen became the most beautiful woman simply by being chosen.
