Mincemeat

This is what awaited me at home. John was driving home from Portland yesterday, when a pickup truck going in the opposite direction suddenly turned  in front of him. He could not avoid the collision. Apparently there was a partly open manhole cover on the other guys lane, which sort of launched him into John's lane and vehicle. The airbag deployed, broken glass was everywhere.  His side is hurting, other than that he is ok. And he is alive! I'm so very thankful for that. Today driving to and from Portland, the lane with the culprit manhole cover was closed, and guys were working to fix it. You just never know what the day may bring.
