Solstice

The darkest day of the year. It’s so misty and murky that we’ll have even less light than we might if it were a bright sunny day. It takes a few weeks to notice much difference but every day now brings a couple of minutes’ more light. Thank goodness.

Last night’s tour of Central Station was really good. Informative and delivered with panache. There were 10 of us for dinner thereafter. Today eight of us will be meeting for lunch. It’s all go. Final yoga session of the year tonight then some last minute shopping and possibly a pizza. I’ve given up on my writing task as any creativity seems to have deserted me.

The birds are busy on the ground and the feeder. I took lots of pictures but the mist was making it hard to focus on the feeding frenzy. This wee robin was picking up the spilled seeds and is appropriate for the season.
