... big machine in use. Well, okay, paused for me to take a picture!! This is a more modern one than yesterday's blip, a 1925 Singer 66K. It used to be owned by my Great Aunt Edith, who bought it new (she was a seamstress, in Southport). When she stopped work she passed it on to my mother, who barely used it, and after my mother died it came to me. I only get it out for large tasks, as despite castors it is very solid and heavy.
