The Longest Day

And what a beautiful sunny day it is too.  The sun rises at 5.55 a.m. and sets at 9.30 p.m.  It was such a nice morning that I set off about 7 a.m. and spotted the rowers coming in from their training.  Home for breakfast, then went for a walk to the lake and back through the park.  Extra 1 is of all the people taking photos of our famous tree.

I am off to pick up our Christmas Ham, then to Luggate to help/watch little 'h' make a start on a gingerbread house.  My daughter arrives tomorrow from Wellington.  Apparently the Christmas traffic is horrendous right across the country.  The temperature today is +25C.

P.S.  Forgot to say I mowed the lawns and washed the car before it got too hot.
