the caretaker

Max on the right is the caretaker of Rose. She is a few years older than him and has gained so much weight that she is about as wide as she is long - see extra. So moving around has become a chore for her. Snuggling up to Max gives her great comfort and he takes his role as 'comforter in chief' very seriously.
