Ange and I are "sharecropping" the potato patch (which in fact is on roadside council land!) this year as Ian wasn't able to do the digging. We have been tending them, mounding them up and they are flowering prolifically - we are feeling quite chuffed with ourselves. And everyone that drives down the road can be impressed too! On Sunday we are going to have a look and see if there is anything sizable worth harvesting for xmas dinners, although I am not holding my breath as think we may be just a tad early.
Two grandchildren arrived today, first time Cody has driven the three hour trip, and everything went well. Lovely to have them with us. More family arriving tomorrow and the rest on xmas eve. Busy times ahead.
