Meet Clemmie! She belongs to our friends who introduced us to Springers 30+ years ago and we've never looked at another breed seriously since. They have such joie de vivre; every day is going to be GREAT!! We get to borrow her for one night only whilst her owners do something Christmassy and cultured.
I've now sewn borders onto a quilt top that was half pieced by Mum, half by me. She had hand pieced a lot of little blocks which I wanted to set nice and simply to show them off. It's taken me a while to find border fabrics which I think make her work sparkle. Now 'all' I need to do is find suitable backing fabric, layer it and quilt it!
