Advent Day 23

This afternoon I went out with the intention of finding Christmas decorations in one or two of the local churches. I found Nativity scenes in Englefield and Theale, the best reminder of what Christmas is actually about. However, just inside the porch of the church in Theale, I found this appliqué  of the Shepherds being visited by the Angels. Quite unusual and beautifully made, it was good to see a portrayal of this scene
