Mistle thrush

I don't know why I try to photograph birds without the right lenses! However, this mistle thrush has been visiting our crab apples for the last fortnight and I had to try to capture it...through a rather dirty window I'm afraid. It is a very jumpy, nervous bird compared with the blackbirds and occasional song thrushes that also visit, but is also very aggressive protecting its crab apples. It even sees off blue and great tits that are just passing through the tree on their way to our feeders.
