The Usual Suspects (six of us) went to Kanyon this evening for the marathon that is 'Star Wars - The Last Jedi', and then just about made it to a sushi place for late supper and beer.  'Fraid to say that we all were thumbs down for this over long spectacle of cliched and overplayed scenarios - although it has to be said that the redeeming feature was in the diversity in cast for significant roles, especially for women. Hollywood attempts to join the C21st. There were, of course super stunning special effects throughout - but for us at least, they were not enough to save the day.

Festive decor at the mall was impressive though - both inside and outside, which was, btw, potentially snow-cold freezing - watch this space. Friends i/c of transport to and from, it was my first Uber experience !!
