Flying Puffins

There is a story behind this plaque which one of three. There was a little tearoom near Lairg where a couple lived. The girl painted these plaques and sold them in her tearoom and here husband had some Jacob sheep and llamas and goats. They decided to immigrate to New Zealand but could not take the Jacob's fleeces as they are not allowed in so they got someone to spin the fleeces and I knitted them two sweaters which they could take into New Zealand so the girl gave me the three plaques as a present. This is two puffins flying over Stoer lighthouse and the Old Man of Stoer.

Went up to Scourie today and had my hair done and delivered the eggs and got a lovely piece of coffee cake from Gill.

Weather was showery rain.
