Henry and the Super Cucumber

Henry is a fan of the children's series, Veggie Tales.
His hero is Larry the Super Cucumber so we decided to see if we could grow some for him.
He was very excited to be able to pick this today.

The family have all arrived for Christmas at the farm.
It was 38C but we survived on the promise of a much cooler couple of days to come.

It was like sickbay here for a while.
Mr isbi has a crick neck (fell off his motorbike !!)
Bec had a headache from the heat.
Elizabeth has earache after swimming in Myall Lakes.
Helen got tummy ache just before dinner (recovered in time for lasagne washed down with rose).
I dropped a hot potato on my foot and it stuck there and burnt my little toe.
And it's only Christmas Eve.
Everyone seems to be on the mend now so should be OK for tomorrow.
