Walking the seafront

Woke up to yet another grey day but so far no rain.  After breakfast decided to drive to the seafront and walk into Southend.  A good walk, kite surfers far out, Brent geese, Salvation Army playing in the High Street and many people walking the mile and a quarter pier.  Posting this early as I'm off to Carols by Candlelight, always a lovely time.
