Wound up in Wexford

Christmas Eve

We're quite alone this Christmas, and loving it. Z has gone to Malmö to spend the week with her sister and family, so we have no responsibilities. We spent some time this morning working in the office, hanging some pictures, and repairing others. Then later afternoon we sat in the garden room, watching the blackbirds, and I started my next cross stitch project.

Now sitting in front of the fire, Berlioz on the CD player, candle lit, gin in hand. W cracked lots of nuts earlier - I've decided that getting someone else to crack them is by far the best way to enjoy nuts. Now he's preparing dinner. I feel very lucky.

I back blipped for yesterday if you are interested.
