Christmas Day....,

Happy Christmas to all my Blipfoto and Social Media Friends. I attended our Anglican Christmas Eve Service from 10.30 last night. Friends Gwen and Yvonne kindly picked me up and drove me home after midnight. Late morning we had breakfast at “Crossroads”... a Christmas event put on for the benefit of the homeless, the needy and lonely. We have a generous group of volunteers and supporters here in Marlborough. Well done Janette and team.
This evening friends Lorraine and Harry and their spoodle puppy, Charlie, joined us for a Christmas barbeque. Thanks to our son Duncan and daughter-in-law, Mei for their help with preparing the meal. We had a lovely evening in mild weather after a very hot windy day.
Maisie and I walked early...,She started shaking her head vigorously on our back to our vehicle. Fearing that she may have a barley grass seed in her ear I arranged a trip to the Vet later in the morning. Elizabeth the Duty Vet, checked her out...,no Barley grass in sight but inflammation in her ear which needs treating. Duncan and Mei drove Kaikoura and back, checking out the changes to State Highway 1 after extensive post-Earthquake repairs.
