Christmas is come

The presents are under the tree ! The stockings are hanging up!
We’ve taken the children to the crib service and looked at the houses lit up on our walk home in the dark.
Chestnut stuffing and cranberry relish made, gammon simmered with cloves, shallots, carrots and bay leaves.
And King’s College Carol service playing on the radio.
Anticipation, waiting, the children asking how long before bedtime!!
