Being troopers

A very lazy, relaxed day (thank goodness after a few busy weeks!!!). We eventually all emerged and gathered around 12ish.

We decided that we would quite fancy going to see the latest Star Wars movie, which he saw day before yesterday, but said he would love to see it again, being the Star Wars fanatic that he is.

We went to watch at the IMAX theatre at the Airport. The closest IMAX to us. Ben briefed us (mostly Martin) on the story so far, so he was prepared for the later episode. And it was fantastic. We were fully engaged and focused. Mind you the screen was huge and 3D was pretty awesome.

Then back home for family dinner and lots of chat about the big brother’s childhood days and memories/nightmares which the boys had lots of laughs about. I’ve heard most of the stories over the last 25 years and was pleased the boys got to hear them too, straight from the horses’ mouths.

A lovely evening spent with Tom, sadly he’s back to Vietnam tomorrow. So pleased he was able to be with us. It made Christmas extra special :).
