Ted, Millie and my son in law at the beach

We rounded up the house guests (5 Dutch, 1 Belarusian, and 10 Brits) plus Millie and Ted, and set off to the beach at St George de Didonne for a bit of air.
Some friends were making bacon butties so we planned to join them, and mum & dad sheltered from the wind in the car.
In the evening our relatives cooked turkey and ham pie for us, and after ten days of mass catering that was just wonderful!
Early start tomorrow, as lots of them head home, but not mum & dad.
I cancelled their flights as dad isn't really strong enough to fly, and is still in pain, and I might have talked them into getting a stairlift! Does anyone have any experience of buying one?
