Chasing Pelicans

Our daughter got in a final paddle before heading back to San Diego. While it was relatively calm on the water Christmas morning, she did have to share with a flock of pelicans. They did not appreciate her return to the beach because it interrupted their mid-morning siesta causing them to take flight well before they wanted to.
