In Memorium?

I walked "round the block" today for the first time in ages. Every Christmas there is a wreath tied to this seat overlooking the valley. There are 2 plates on the front of the seat reading: "Happy memories of Monica Denise Moxley 17.08.1922 - 28.09.2011 who loved this view" and "Alan Frank Butcher 1939 - 2013 walked these woods from boy to man". Somebody remembers them. A rather lovely thought.
