Grinshill on Boxing Day

The boys were all busy today (M at the Chelsea match, K at the Shrewsbury match in Wigan and D at Michelle's) so we decided to head for the hills to try and burn off some of the excesses of the last couple of days.

Dad came with us and after a bit of indecision on my part about where to go, we decided to go somewhere new. With the map downloaded onto my phone we finally headed to Grinshill. It was a lovely walk, if a bit squelchy in parts! I'm glad we opted for somewhere new as there's so much of Shropshire still to explore but we do tend to stick to our known walks. The views at the top of the quarry were lovely and if we'd gone earlier in the day when the sun was out they would have been even more beautiful.
