Snow!

... we woke up to this wintry scene this morning - I know it's only a couple of inches but it's surprising how even this small amount brings so many things to a standstill - buses stuck and unable to negotiate hills, cars sliding, at least a large number of people are still off work and school for their holidays.
Everything is quiet and looks quite beautiful. Let's hope it's gone tomorrow before I have to venture out!
