Blue and White.

After all those days of thick cloud, fog and drizzle, what a joy to have perfect weather for a drive round the Lake District.
Here is Skiddaw in all its winter glory. A sight very familiar to many Cumbrian Blippers.

Not so pleasing was the performance of the Lakeland Pencil Museum in Keswick. The grandchildren had long been looking forward to a visit there. Their Website clearly showed that they would be open today. Getting there and back was a 90 mile round trip so it was not very pleasing to arrive and find a notice on the door to say they were closed. Neither efficient or thoughtful.
If it had been a day of poor weather we would have been very cross. They will be receiving an email from me which they may not like.
