Herd of Curlews

After tidying the house following yesterday's festivities, we took Rona for a walk at Higgins Neuk. Bright it was but very chilly and a bit slippy under foot (and paw) if you weren't careful. Lots of birdlife evident and I took lots of photos. I actually thought at first that these were geese until I looked more closely. Those beaks are a slight giveaway!
