Having a good sing in the sun :-)

it was perhaps glad to see nearly 2 inches of snow we had had here slowly melting :-)

A main road - shut today - passes through a ford in the local town of Kennilworth (nearby a ruined castle). It is normally a stream around 3 - 4 metres wide - and runs underneath the road. It normally floods in the winter, or when there has been an awful lot of rain. There are warning signs, and a water level marker on the side of the road, so the scene in the one extra, where the water reached 2 foot high today - can happen.

See the following link to the Kennilworth Courier for their report on it.

The 'light snow flurries' we had been forecast became a covering of snow - in the one extra. I know other areas have had far worse - keep safe everyone.
