Snow joke

What a day to be travelling to Scotland. We left at 10.00am and crawled along the motorway in heavy snow to Stansted Airport. Luckily the plane was delayed....unluckily by 3.5 hours.

Arrived at the pre-paid car hire place to find that they had ‘reallocated’ our car as we hadn’t turned up when expected. No car available even if we’d have managed to collect it since it turns out we should have brought in a utility bill.

Got a taxi and train to our hotel to discover Martin had left his driving licence at the rubbish car hire place.

Finally arrived at hotel at 7.30pm. All feeling a bit exhausted but are looking forward to seeing Martins parents tomorrow.
