Bracing

It was a fairly early start this morning when Bailey decided that he didn't want to go back to sleep. Luckily, Ringo required company too so we weren't the only ones up. A walk on the field after breakfast and then a plan to go to Saltburn. It was high tide, freezing, blowing a gale and generally 'bracing' but that didn't deter Ringo from chasing pebbles and running into the waves. Bailey remained on his lead but enjoyed watching his dog cousin. I took shots with the fisheye lens but have needed to do some faffing to make them passable. They do at least show some of the drama of our 20 minute trip to the seaside.

Home for lunch before we returned westwards. There was a lot of traffic but, luckily, most of it was going in the opposite direction. And there was sunshine too for the first time since we have been on this side.

Bailey has mainly slept since we came back. He has clearly had a very good time. Although he did stir himself long enough to have another turkey dinner.
