Ice

I suppose this could be a mystery object but it is a piece of ice that fell from the plastic bag I put the ashes in after cleaning out the fire.
As if I hadn't already noticed it does say something about the temperature in this part of the world.

Thanks for the good wishes for the journey home yesterday  - we soon got rid of the snow and headed North on a lovely sunny day but unfortunately got caught up in the recovery operation of a lorry that had ended up in a field and that added nearly an hour to our journey - not good when 3 lanes of a motorway are reduced to one and everyone slows down to look when they are passing the scene.
