Identification

10.7C and dull. Smir and drizzle later.

Apothecary7's day off today. Out we went this morning for a very unusual shopping trip ... a new bed for Maeve. She is coming on holiday with us again soon and we though that a new bed would be a good idea. Her old one is getting ... well ... old! We got a good foam bed to help support her joints and I hit on the crafty idea of getting her to pop out of the car and slip the new bed on the back seat on top of her usual waterproof seat cover and travel rug. Back in she jumped and new bed instantly adopted as she knows this is her place in the car.

M&S cafe in the food shop near City Quay in Dundee for coffee and carrot cake served as reward for my bed adoption idea. We bought things for lunch and dinner while we were there. Then we went further along the dock near the back of City Quay to hunt for blips and I had a bit of a job choosing just one from the various Marine and dockside decay shots I got. This is what I take to be the identification number on a very large buoy we found lying on the dockside.

Later we went for a walk along Carnoustie High Street for a change. We all got wet in the smir. Maeve had to be towel dried !
