Signing

It's one thing penning a book, but it's another signing the bloody things. Seemingly there is an etiquette to it. The term 'Sign' refers only to an author signature. A book is 'inscribed' when the author pens a personal message to the purchaser and an 'Association copy' is one which the author has signed for a family member or perhaps a celebrity.
Then of course there are the 'Dedication' copy's. These seemingly are as rare as hen's teeth.
