Police incident

Our usual entrance to Highfield Park was completely blocked off with a massive Police presence today. Before heading for the next entrance, I asked the constable on guard what was going on. His curt response of 'there's been an incident' suggested something very serious had taken place, and we later found out that there had been a fatality within a burnt out car. The dead body was that of a woman in her thirties, with the police concluding the death was not suspicious. Sad at any time, but especially so during the Christmas period.
