Catch!

I left home at 9.30 am and arrived at Helle's about an hour later.

We started with some dog training. Hero was so clever. He performed his routine with just 2 little breaks (rewards) today. It is the first time ever, we have done it with that few stops! Woooohooooo we are getting closer to being able to perform it at shows!

He got a fabulous new ball, which Helle had bought for him. It is the one he is catching in this picture. He loved it.

We trained the 4 younger dogs, whilst the 3 older ones got the day off.

After our training, Helle and I had lunch and the dogs had some chew treats.

Then Helle's friend Lisbeth came to show us the work she has done on our 2018 props. It looks great! Hero's haunted house will be fabulous in the Crufts ring!

We finished by giving 6 out of the 7 dogs a bath (Gollum didn't need one), brush all 7 dogs and clip their nails and the long hair on their feet and blow-dry the 4 of them, who are not afraid of the blower (Hero, Biscuit, Jazz and Doggie). It took somewhere between 2½ and 3 hours to do them all.

The extra pictures are:

Top right: Our lunch table in the training hall.
Bottom left: Gollum's heelwork.

It was past 8 pm, when we came home, but we have had a great day.

See you tomorrow
