Seeking shelter

Non-stop pouring overnight and all day, so most of the snow has gone.  The rain did turn to snow briefly but thankfully that didn't last!  We thought town might be very busy with people stocking up for New Year's, but there were lots of parking spaces and not many people out and about, no doubt because of the weather.  This little group was taking shelter for a few minutes in front of Old Salty.  I chose this shot from the few I took because it was the only one that had some colour in it!  It's been such a dark, dreary day.  
We're thinking of people in the Fraser Valley, where freezing rain has resulted in treacherous conditions and power outages, and everyone in other parts of Canada who are experiencing extremely cold conditions.
