Foodie outing

Our neighbors and we (us?) braved the dismal weather to drive to the Georgetown area to have lunch at Jack's BBQ. Texas-style. We had brisket, pulled pork, beef rib tips, beans, coleslaw, mac n cheese, and pecan pie. (I did work out this morning!!) Wow, it was all so good (we each had a mixture of the above). There was a toy giraffe dressed up in cowboy boots and a handkerchief which I thought was funny (extra).

Of course we were near the HQ of Fran's Chocolates so we stopped in there to check out the old building (used to be a brewing company, extra) and buy a few pieces of chocolate gold. The display was mesmerizing and it's a really good thing I don't live closer!
