Making rice paper

At the end of our tour to the tunnels, from which Ho Chi Minh and his comrades defeated first the French and then the Americans, this calm domestic scene was very welcome. In the background, some of our fellow tourists, somewhat differently affected by the experience than we had been, were making an unholy racket, taking the opportunity offered to fire Vietnam war-era guns at a firing range.
