Stunning.......

.......colours on these Splendid Wrens. I'm sorry but I can't resist stalking them. They are only this colour in the mating season which we thought had finished but perhaps because we have had such a mild start to summer, they still think it's spring!! The females, in contrast are rather plain and dowdy little blossoms.  
Prepare for more wrens in the days to come. And robins. And galahs.
