Fiddling through the Gap

One of my favourite areas in Munich is around the Odeonsplatz, a large square bordered by history, shops and cafes.
On any day of the year, in any weather it is a pleasure to sit and watch the eddies of well dressed workers mix with those of the awkward tourists and self assured students from the nearby university halls.
At the main entrance to the Hofgarten and in good weather a single musician or group will entertain a small part of the moving mass. This afternoon it was a group who at the time of being surreptitiously photographed was performing a good rendition of Kalinka as their finale.
